Artist Bio

G'day, I am Ad Hock. Yes, that is my name and I am a self-taught artist from the land down under. 
Growing up I was alway fond of drawing, I copy artwork from comicbooks, Mad magazine and even Garfield. Being from a small town in central Queensland, I never thought that a career in illustration would be a dream that I could fulfill.
For a long time it persuded other ventures and at one point I studied Computer Science in the hope of becoming a computer game designer. But what I realised is, I wanted to make things and I have a love for creating.  

Years later, I reconnected with the passion for drawing. I started creating a web comic with a friend and continued to grow my skill.
I live in a moderate town in New South Wales in Australia with my larger than normal family. 
I love the styles of illustration from comic book artist, like Jim Lee, David Finch and Travis Charest. 

I am always learning and growing and believe if I stop learning I will be come stagnate. Please look out for me in the future.
